VBS Consult signed frameagreement with Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS

Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS (KNOT) has in strong competition wiht others been awarded a contract for Floating Storage and Offloadingon in the development at Martin Linge field. This  involves a reconstruction of M/ T Hanne Knutsen into a FSO unit (Floating Storage and Offloading) and VBS Consult AS shall provide consultants in technical safety and environmental protection. Commencement of the project is in the beginning of September 2013 and it will last to the end of 2016. In the first phase there will be some engineering in Romania, then construction phase in Gdansk before the ship is going out in the field at the beginning of 2017.
