Career day at HSH
Tuesday 27th January NITO arranged career day at Høgskolen Stord Haugesund.
This year we got a very good location for our stand. Both first-, second- and third- year students visited us to hear about the opportunities we could give them.
Although we can not see far into the future, but we can at least guarantee that the market situation will improve. When this will happen is difficult to predict. However, we know about several projects that will be started already this year. It means that our kind of company eyes opportunities in all these projects around the country.
One thing that is very important to remember in these times is that the competition is hard. Therefore, a nice and informative CV determines whether a candidate is going ahead in the battle for the position in question. Read more about filling here:
This is the second year that VBS Consult is attending the Career Day at the college. Last year we met many students who registered with us, and we have presented several of them for various jobs around the district.
For many are a consultancy company the way to go for building the practice they need to get themselves an exciting permanent job. We are experiencing that our customers prefers formal education and at least a bachelor degree. Several of our newly qualified consultants that have been participated in several projects acquire wide experience and builds a solid CV. This is of great value when a customer / employer are considering candidates’ practice and experience.
We got a good impression of the students we talked to and really hope that we will see some of them again when they are ready to start the career.
